What it is
Your menu, one scan away
A menu QR code sits on the table, the window or the bill and opens your menu on the guest's phone. Guests use it to look before they sit down, to order another round without waving for a menu, and to check allergens in their own language and at their own pace.
This tool makes the code and lays it out on an A6 table card with your restaurant's name and a short line such as "Scan to see our menu". Download the card as a print-ready image or take the code alone as PNG or SVG for your own design.
The code is static, so it can't be switched off by a subscription you forgot about. One piece of advice from building restaurant websites for a living: link to a real menu page, not a PDF. A web page opens instantly on mobile data, can be updated in a minute and shows up on Google when people search for your dishes. A PDF does none of those things.
How to use it
From menu link to table card
- 01
Copy your menu link
The page where your menu lives: your website, your ordering system or a menu platform.
- 02
Paste it and add your name
The restaurant name and the call to action appear on the table card preview straight away.
- 03
Download the card or the code
The card is an A6 image ready for the printer. The PNG or SVG code is for menus, stickers and window decals.
- 04
Scan it at the table
Before printing a batch, scan one copy in the restaurant's own light to be sure it opens the right page quickly.
Use cases
Where guests will scan it
Table cards and stands.
The classic spot. Guests scan while they wait, so the printed menu stops being the bottleneck.
Front window.
People walking past decide from the street. A code on the glass lets them read the menu before they come in.
Takeaway bags and receipts.
Bring people back for the next order by putting the menu, and your ordering link, in their hands.
Terrace and bar.
Outdoor tables, where paper menus blow away and get wet, are where a sturdy QR card earns its keep.
Events and pop-ups.
A short seasonal menu changes often. Point the code at one page and update the page, not the print.

Questions
A menu QR code is the moment your website gets its biggest audience: every hungry guest at every table. Make sure it opens a menu that loads fast, reads well on a phone and helps you get found on Google.
